Princess Leia’s Ray Gun

This stunner of Nectar Collector was created with Raven Designs, an artist I've worked with for years. When I first discovered the application of electroformed copper plating to glass in the late 2000s, I knew Raven would be the perfect person to develop this technique with. His jewelry and sculptural work had already caught my eye in the Burning Man-inspired art circles I was part of at the time.

The steampunk style that runs through our work together emerged immediately, and we’ve leaned into it ever since. Princess Leia’s Ray Gun is one of the best examples of what we’ve created together.
