Pod Racer Space Pipe

The Pod Racer Space Pipe grew out of an idea that has followed me through years of making Nectar Collectors: the connections between the pieces could be just as important as the pieces themselves. What started as a way to change a tip or diffuser became a whole new way to think about building a pipe.

I’ve spent years imagining, designing, and evolving the Nectar Collector, but I’ve never stopped thinking of myself as a pipe maker and artist at heart. For me, the interesting part is where those two worlds meet. The engineering has to work, but the finished piece should have a personality all its own.

The Pod Racer Space Pipe is my latest exploration of that idea. The name captures the spirit I’m after: a little science fiction, a little playful invention, and a pipe that feels like it belongs in the world I’ve been building all along.
