The very first Nectar Collector v3.0 EVER!! (with a few updates)
Here it is: the first v3.0 ever. Made in early 2013, this piece has had quite a life so far. It started out with a 14mm ground joint for the tip connector and was used exclusively and excessively as the main shop piece at Wasatch Glassworks for many years. As the Nectar Collector evolved so did this piece. It had a threaded tip conversion kit bolted to it for a quick minute then once we refined the glued collars, it sported one of those for several years. After that it spent a couple of years on a shelf collecting dust as there were so many new and exciting designs that needed rigorous product testing here at the studio :) Recently it was updated to our next generation Infinity Tech modular system and oh baby, it’s sweet! Once we saw how cool the upgrade was we decided it was time to share the love and put it up on the auction block. Due to the 2000+ degree temps it experienced during the infinity tech upgrade it is 100% sterile and clean and ready for it’s new forever home.
